Day 16 – A Vegetable

So this prompt was a vegetable there were so many ways I could have taken it. Anyway my sister took a bite out of a pepper and I picked it up and saw the perfect mouth. It had two teeth coming down. So as a bit of fun I got a knife and cut holes in the eyes. It looked like it was screaming so I turned the photo scary ☺☺ When I posted it on Instagram I got so many people saying it was so clever but extremely scary. 😨

A Mother’s Day Tree

So this is a bit late but for Mother’s Day me and my sister decided to take the easter decorations off the craft tree and make a Mother’s Day one. I used a lot of the hearts from Valentines but I made some flowers and hearts with wings using decorative paper and Origami. My sister then found some poems online about Mothers and we stuck them to the tree.

Here is a list of the craft websites I used with tutorials on how to make some of the Origami decorations:

Day 15 – Patterns

So today’s prompt was patterns this was very difficult to decide on what to do as there are so many patterns in the world. But today I suddenly had an idea… I had been working on patterned paper creating Origami pieces for my mum on mother’s day. I love Origami and have collected a number of really nice papers with patterns to create some nice things with it. I collected them all up and made this photo.

A valentine tree

So this year my mum brought for the house a plain white tree which she said I could decorate depending on the season and the time of year. My mum and I saw a fully done tree in Hobbycraft and thought it looked so pretty. I love being crafty and making things in my spare time and I seemed to have a lot of that over these past few days. I had no work so found I could do this when I was home alone. I made a variety of different hearts and had fun when making them. I decided before I started this project that I wanted every heart to be different and unique to represent the many different types of love we have in our lives.
