Day 29 – Looking for the Light

This was a difficult one today as the email prompt suggested natural light. That was very difficult as it was pouring it down with rain. April showers have come early. So I decided to look through the old photos. I saw this photo of the festival I went to.

In 2013 I went to Reading Rock Festival to see Green Day and loads of other bands. I took this photo at one of the shows. It thought this would be perfect for looking for the light as the light effects going on look awesome. Also all the different colours and black silhouettes of the crowd make the photo have energy.

Day 28 – Hanging

So today the prompt was hanging… this was an easy prompt today. I spent most of the time at my Uncles 50th surprise party. Half a century!! Anyway I spent most of the day there and very much enjoyed it. It was nice catching up with the family. So I took this photo of a hanging decoration they put up. I edited the background to make the photo more appealing.

Day 27 – Reflections

For this prompt I was unable to find any reflections so I used an old photo from holiday a year ago. I edited the sky to make it look much more breathtaking than it actually was. I chose this photo because of the reflections of lights on the water looked interesting. All the different colours making the water really the focal point of the photo.

Day 26 – Escape the Everyday

This prompt was interesting as there are many ways to escape the everyday. The email prompt suggested a scene of the beach as this is very relaxing. I went through my previous photos from holiday abroad a few years ago. I found this one of an evening sunset across the water. I love the purple tint to the photo. This photo was not edited the purple tint was how it looked when I took the photo from our hotel balcony.

Day 25 – Go for a drive

So this prompt was Go for a drive, luckily my new job meant I was getting driven around new places in Windsor. I explored this new part that I had never been to and while we were trying to come out (but not succeeding) I took this shot. I love the landscape and the sky in this photo it was definitely a breathtaking find. 🙂
